I lived 30 years in different places in that awful (awe full) corridor stretching from north Texas up through Oklahoma, Kansas, and southwest Missouri. Mostly it was the ice storms I hated most and never got a direct hit from a tornado - then finally decided it must be uninhabitable - and rarely came back
I liked Taman Mini a lot, we visited it some years ago (missed feeding the pig though) - the first time I was able to see what a huge and varied country Indonesia is. Best regards to the President. We think he is doing a good job.
That is a great post
Love is the answerAs Jesus also taught. May not require chemical psychedelics though
Well I guess ice IS kind of energy intensive, but I think it is that, in the temporate zone anyway, iced coffee is only offered in the summer, which is just getting here. In Indonesia I never drink iced anything (anymore!-learned the hard way-no antibodies), but I LOVE Javanese coffee (or Sumatran second). Dina's relatives always stock up on Kapal Api when we come.
Thanks Buddy

Yep the changing does not change - it is some kind of law I think
Hurrah for this type of projectThe best chance the world has is for the bright young people of various countries of our shrinking world to get together, become friends, and talk about what is good for the world in general (certainly peace, not war)! May you have many such experiences PS your hehe English is at least as good as mine I think
Nice picture. Our climatis and rhodadendron are blooming; hope to plant some zinnias this year from seed. Pulled the last year's basil up - plan to use it. Flag is up, and we are grateful; have a Happy Memorial Day
In the last 8 years I have been in a hospital in Texas and my wife has been in one in Oregon. In both cases the nuses, both female and male, were competent, and caring. In both places they asked us frequently how our pain was on scale of 1 to 10 (7 for me, with blocked intestine). And medication was administered I guess we were lucky but we currently have a high opinion of health care facilities.
Great post Churchhill, I understand, said "Better to Jaw,Jaw,Jaw, than War,War,War" - (I think it rhymes the way he said it). Trouble is it takes world awareness (and brains) to negotiate.
Well, it IS unusual to see a politician who knows how to talk and knows what he is talking about - us Oregonians appreciate that
Agreeing with jondude, change is what the ordinary folks have left after the top dogs take the bucks. I heard they changed the change slogan to "The Change America Deserves" I want to add "is Obama".
