It is a trifle sad, that Christmas has become so commercialized and as you said, it is in our faces from October. I too recall the magic of Christmastime as a child - simply appearing all of a sudden - with not too long to wait before father Christmas did appear (or rather, he made his prescence known by leaving the gifts) I do see the sense in shopping for the children throughout the year - it is easier for the parent financially, to buy them without too much pain in the wallet lter on in the year, when extra cash has to be found for heating and food (and those'bills' which never seem to end) Well, over here we have te required 'snow' . . . just waiting on Father Christmas now . . .
That was 'epic'! A few times I thought the pilot was going to clip his wings The sensation of being in the plane was tremendous - akin to a ride on the 'big dipper at a fair ground. Excellent
Oh my goodness! I hope they do, kick in! In the meantime, do as they have told you. Will you still have to attend the physio on Monday or, does it depend on the visit tomorrow?
Why am I in italic?
I think that it would be so much 'simpler', if homosexuality was accepted full stop. No unfortunately, I doubt if it would stop the bigots of society, but it would be a 'beginning'

I love the pictures
I told you!!!! Let me know how you got on in the hospital
'r eiria achos zebra, ydy mo cyfieithadwy i mewn i ' Saesneg '! (The word for zebra, is not translatable into 'English!) I think this is because 'zebras' weren't an animal that the Welsh 'saw' in Wales. The Welsh, as a 'people', only spoke their own, language - incorporating only what they knew. I think I mentioned in my earlier comment, that 'Welsh' is believed to be the language of the entire country, prior to the Roman Conquest (I am not saying that the actual language was 'called' Welsh - it would have been the language of 'Britain' during that precise period). Welsh is still spoken and is encouraged in the education curriculum (of Wales). Granted, it is not as common as 'once upon a time', but I have been to places - Lampeter in mid Wales for example, where walking down the high street I was amazed at teenagers in a group, were chatting to themselves (as teenagers do) completely in Welsh! Lots of words have come into the vocabulary which have to be spoken in the 'English' form i.e. 'Zebra', because there is no feesable translation.
Now that the type (of wine) I like . . . . !!
An adorable picture Good luck with completing your gifts. Knitted garments (especially when they're handmade) are extra special I think
The letter Q is the 17th letter of the Roman alphabet. I suppose it became embroiled with the Anglo-Saxon speech and eventually into the narrative when writing became used during the time of King Alfred. In the Welsh language, it is only in the last two or three years that the letter Z has been added to the language! Up until then, there was not a word with a Z in it! (loads of double LL's, FF's and DD's though) - actually, 'Welsh' is the language that historians believe was the language spoken throughout the Island before the Roman conquest!
Ooooh that sound nice
You should try 'The History Channel' - much more entertaining . . .
Keep warm Fredo
It sounds like a 'true to life' story. I get the feeling that the audience are taking on a role of 'flies on the wall'. Then, I think the nudity takes a secondary meaning. Good unbiased review
I completely agree with you. call it what you will, but I call it 'womans intuition', 'gut feeling' - whatever. I also think this 'knowledge' can be put to use in other aspects too. I find it very helpful. I have learned to trust this instinct.
