Marg... maybe you should buy a sheep and spin your own yarn. My step-daughter does it all from start to finish. But then, they have a sheep ranch. She uses mostly a very rough texture natural looking yarn and finds that at craft sales or the booth she has at the cattle dog events, people ask for that rough yarn. I guess it is what is popular now. She made me a scarf using that felting technique. Beautiful!!!! I really admire people like Liz and you who do such nice work. It is an art!!!!
Sorry, I hate to see the little specialty stores go out.
Can't get started in the morning without it!
Doesn't sound that great.
I've got my mail in ballot for the State of Oregon and I'm checking McCain/Palin. Just can't go with that Obama guy.
Warm long handled underwear is the answer. For Bisbee... maybe nittineedles can knit him something appropriate. I remember as a child waking up to frost on the inside of our windows. Brrrrrr....
These are great!!!! Thanks for the laughter!
My daughter lives in the Central Valley (Modesto). Her children have had their first colds of the season. They never get sick all at once so she deals with it one at a time and misses a lot of work. :o(
I'm with Nenah... send those kids my way. What a great meal... has some of my favorites!!!! I guess this dispels the idea that most of the mainlanders have about living in Hawaii. You don't spend every waking hour at the beach.
What fun for the both of you... but for Kota... an absolutely wonderful childhood memory. Stay warm.
A memorable experience indeed!
I understand. I was with my Dad when he passed on. I told him it was okay to go and he immediately passed away. I wanted to bring back those words, but I knew it was for the best. He had suffered way too long, too. It has been 11 years and I miss him much. My Mom died 31 years ago and I really miss her. I would love to just sit and talk to the both of them. (((Hugs))) Annie
She really gets into the holidays. I agree with AJ.
I love that song! Congratulations to you and Tony. I'm so happy for you. Love is grand.
