When people say they don't see anything good in us we can confirm the accuracy of their judgement or prove them wrong by developing something good in us.
When people abuse us we can go on and justify ourselves for abusing others or resolve never to abuse anybody for the rest of our life.
When people use us and cast us by the wayside we can sit by the wayside and moan or determine then and there that we will never use others and trash them.
When people say we are stupid we can be annoyed and act stupidly or move on to prove them wrong.
When people say we are gay we can become gay or make a few children to show we are not.
When people say we are evil we can believe them and commit more evil deeds in our anger or be resolved to leave this world a better place.
Whatever people say we can prove them right and make them happy or make the regret for what they say and put their feet in their mouths.
We can fulfil their prophesies and make the happy or we can make them false prophets and deny them their happiness.
What we can do is all up to us.
