Ice Cave Squeeze by Kevin McNeal

This was taken from an workshop with Marc
Adamus and we went exploring for different things. This is one small ice
cave that actually was only a few feet tall and I had to crawl in on my
hands and knees in water to fit in here but it was fun. It took me
almost half an hour laying in glacier water but the exposure was very
difficult.

Equipment: Canon 5D 17-40L Kevin McNeal

Kevin McNeal is a Washington St. photographer
focusing on grand colorful landscapes that reflect the most unique
places on earth. Capturing moments of magic light and transferring this
on print, images behold a combination of perseverance, patience, and
dedication to capture the images in ways unseen before. The stories of
how these images are rendered come across in the feelings the images
convey.

Grizzly Property – No trespassing, Katmai
Alaska

by Richard Dumoulin

No it’s not a zoo. No the bears are not fed to
show up for tourists. It’s Katmai National Park where nature is mostly
untouch by the man.
It’s deep in the heart of Alaska and you will find there a lot of
grizzlys. They tolerate each other but some of them are feared. They
recognize themselves using their smell.
This photo was taken on the ground, near the Katmai Wilderness Lodge
(about an hour by boat from the lodge, in Kukak bay).

Powders and Paints  by David Lazar

In India, The festival ‘Holi’ celebrates the
arrival of Spring
– with vibrantly colored powers and paints liberally
thrown onto anyway who happens to be outside on this day. I had a little
appartment which overlooked the alleyways of the Jaisalmer Fort – so I
took this photo from a safe vantage point.

Equipment: Canon Powershot A80 David Lazar

I’m a photographer from Brisbane, Australia – and
one of the joys for me (outside my musical profession) is travelling and
capturing moments of life and beauty through photography.
My favourite styles of photography: Portraiture and landscape. Also, in
general, I prefer shots which contain an element of ‘cannot be captured
exactly again’; that is expressive people shots, action shots and any
scenario with a unique aspect to it.

Ljotipollur, Iceland by Konny Gudjonsdottir

Its hard to belive but Ljotipollur actually means "The ugly puddle". The
colors are spectacular and the lake is filled with trout

Lake Ljotipollur occupies the southernmost crater of the long
eruptive fissure, which was created during an enormous eruption in 1477.
In spite of its name the
crater is uniquely impressive and the surroundings stands no comparison
to other such natural phenomena in the country. It's deepest point is
said to be 14m deep and the
brown trout catch is so good that the anglers have had difficulties in
carrying it up the steep and loose slopes of the crater.

Fishing huts that accommodate 5-6 people can be booked for fishing
parties wanting to experience a long weekend or fish for a whole week
picking a different lake each
day.
