Lately I have lost patience with boring movies. I used to watch them all the way to the end in case there was some spark that would bring it all together.
Very nice ducks. Did you tell them you have paid your Friend of Birds dues, based on having a bird living in your house at one time?
Watching the William and Kate wedding a few years ago, I was struck by how many of the lady guests looked like they jumped out of bed, slapped a fascinator on their bed hair and rushed over to the church. In their defense, the wedding started at 10 am, and I found it charming because it showed they were real people, not a bunch of movie star celebrity types. Then, Posh Spice showed up looking all put together, like a petunia in the onion patch. She probably had her hair and makeup staff come over at 2 am to start getting her ready.
I don't know what your weather is like this time of year. Out here in Colorado we are alternating between nice weather and gloomy days that feel like winter and are a little bit depressing. One of these days the May flowers will be in bloom and life will seem better.
I like those sheep.
I love it when people check back in once in awhile.
You be careful driving around in that car. I don't need to tell you to enjoy yourself.
The potato salad would be a lot less work, and I suspect much cheaper than the pasta salad, but the pasta salad sounds like more fun. I've got people willing to help prepare the salads, so it will come down to budget.
I sent you an email - I'd like to buy the Grand Canyon.
Faithful, beloved friends.
Hobbie, we have never forgotten you. I always pictured going to your front door, and there you'd be, in charge of the house. Hugs to all the kitties.
If you DID write about it before, I forgot, so it works out.
That IS too lucky - I was sure that good samaritan must have died because the Universe loves irony.
By the way, in the winter I discontinue my trash service and save up trash bags until it starts again in the spring. There's no food scraps in it - those go out for the birds and I burn all the paper/cardboard, generate about 1 bag every two weeks. If it gets too much, I have a friend with a dumpster who lets me put some in there. If I had neighbors, they'd probably notice this state of trashlessness here, too.
