I was back from Amsterdam last night, feels good being home again but i must say i loved the city. I visited some museums, but didn't had the time to visit half of what i wanted to visit, i visited Van Gogh museum, weed museum, vodka museum and sex museum, the rest of the time we were walking around the city exploring it, i loved the architecture of the city, the people in the shops were really nice and kind, and everyone spoke English (really different from people in shops here in Portugal) my hotel was in Rembrandt area, so a lot of coffee shops around, my friends went about 3 times a day to the coffee shop, they love smoking weed and I'm not really into it, i kinda hate the smell and even walking around the city you could always smell it everywhere, i just drank a lot of Heineken beer, other crazy thing is the bikes, so many bikes everywhere and the bike drivers are crazy, me and my friends weren't used to it at beginning so we walked by mistake on bike path and we almost got hit like 10 times. The night in Amsterdam is great, great bars, great discos, i went to red light district to see how it was, and if someone told me i wouldn't believe how many people were like in queue lines waiting for their turn to have sex with a prostitute, it's just crazy, there the sex business is so open, later that night we kept walking down the street and i noticed we were getting into gay area (i didn't told my friends because i wanted to go further and check how it was) i saw gay flags everywhere and the first bar was called "cock-ring" and there was a gay cinema next to it, i kept my friends distracted and we kept going, shame at some point they saw some gay couples kissing in street and wanted to go back, it was great to see it, i learned something from it really. The thing i didn't liked so much was the weather, i never been so many days without seeing the sun or the stars at night, and it was so cold. it was OK for 5 days but i don't think i could get used to it to live there, i need sun.

I just loved my experience there, being in a total different city and a different way of life really opened my eyes a bit, seeing everyone so open about gay people was great. I want to return some day.
