I was sorry to hear that you had voted early. Given another week or so you might have seen through the sham-man. I'm afraid the pride you took in voting for this evil person will turn to shame when you discover what he really is.
I wish you good luck. I wish us all good luck.

It is unbelievable isn't it? In a lot of cases I could write Democratic choices off as starry-eyed looniness but when you get down to the likes of Barney Frank, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi etc. there are only two possibilities: insanity or stupidity!

Why would it be erased? You voted Obama/Biden.

Downtown and the lakefront are incredible don't you think? If you should get this way again be sure to see the Museum of Science and Industry. Not only is it marvelous for it exhibits but it is the only surviving building from the fair. But don't try to walk from the museum to the Plaisance - drive it. They're a good mile apart. It just gives you an idea of how huge the fair grounds were.
Thanks for the compliments.

Funny how the mind sometimes descriminates on nothing but emotion. Fact is you just don't like Palin some reason that has nothing to do with objectivity. Take your second paragraph for example. Every word in it could just as easily be applied to Obama. Go figure.

I suspect that what you say is at least partly true. But if I were in the market I would not have jumped ship so soon. I'd have waited til closer to election day. Things could still easily turn in McCain's favor.

I'm not sure if we still have two competing parties. I guess we have two parties but not two ideologies. Socilaism has so infested both parties that differences are hard to find.

I did say "if he stands for free markets". I can't tell one way or another what he really stands for.
I did go to your earlier post this morning and because I wanted to access the list there. Unfortunately I could not do it from this computer. I'll try again.

Believe it or not there are many things that are far, far, far more important than a woman's right to abortion. Try to get your priorities in order before your country is pulled from under your feet. Seriously. You need to sit down and organize your priorities or become just another useful idiot.

I disagree with the cuss out of McCain. He may only be the lesser of two evils but if he actually stands for free markets, as the author suggests, then that is a point in John's favor. America became great when it had truly free markets. It has not faired so well since the government began putting its mybloggers hands on it and choking it to death.

I think they absolutely do know what they are doing. They are killing Capitalism and doing a damn fine job of it. A vote for Obama is a vote for the final destruction of both Capitalism and Democracy in this country.

BTW: I agree that Israel is not to be trusted. I am as disgusted as your author is over the attack on the USS Liberty. There is no possible way that you can accidentally attack an unarmed ship. I was in the Air Force myself in '67 when this happened. The politics that was and still is played with the lives of our servicemen is criminal.
Never-the-less there is an Israeli perspective to be considered in the Palestinian issue. The problem with gaining a fair perspective is that there is so much disinformation planted in the media compounded by the secrecy practiced by all the governments involved.

Actually (and I know you cannot think outside your box in order to see this) the best thing the American government could do is pass a Constitutional amendment forbidding government to tax businesses of any kind. There is no such thing as taxing a business. It is an illusion - a criminal deception - by which The People are taxed and business is forced to collect those taxes from The People and take the heat for higher prices. Government avoids blame and The People never get to see their actual tax bill.

And so it is that the pigs of congress get to look down from Olympus and laugh as The People and business tear at one another's throats.

You view this from a one sided perspective. There is another side that is as least as valid. You have not given the Israeli perspective and apparently do not intend to evaluate it. Apartheid is actually a perfect example of what is taking place in Israel today. I intend to revisit the S.A. experience within a day or two.
On a personal note I am having difficulty addressing all the issues you've been putting on my table. I can't get to all of them. Sorry.
