If some jerk trooper tazered your ten year old kid and threatened to kill your family - and had the gun to do it with - would you not take any steps necessary to disarm him? The surprising thing to me is that he is not dead or in prison.

I think Thompson said it all when he pointed out that politicians always promise that they're only going to take the water out of someone else's side of the bucket.

Why is she so popular? She's real, down to earth, has a sense of humor. Saw a picture of her in younger days wearing a shirt that said: "I may be broke but at least I'm not flat busted." She's THAT real.

I don't think she should have used staff to mind her children. She should have gone to her nearest community organizer and found out where she could get free State-run child care.

Of course I'm fully aware that Barack is bi-racial. What's your point? That this somehow makes it impossible for him to be racist against half his biological input? Some say Hitler had Jewish blood. Others might note that Father Pflager - a passionate anti white racist - is himself white - completely!
And, my good friend, if racism is an argument that no longer hunts why is the Left so consumed with the need to inject it into any remotely relative argument. And do you really not realize that such was your entire purpose in broadcasting this disgusting piece of propagandist sabotage?

EJ my sweet, people in Chicago talk this way all the time. You should hear some of the sermons coming from our black churches here. You'd be shocked! But then again you weren't shocked were you at the sermons the brilliant Barack enjoyed for 20 years at Trinity. The man is a dangerous racist but that thought cannot be entertained in your mind for an instant I'm sure.
I love your innocence but politics is no place for dreamers.

It's reassuring to know the PC police are on the job.

My post that led to the branding of Hillary and Barack as the inevitable candidates was titled "Open Letter To John McCain" and is still available at Blogster. Here is a link (though I don't expect it to work):

I just read your little bio - interesting. Essentialy you were a community organizer on a global scale. That means you're qualified to run for President - and are old enough, too.

Mindanao, the name sends chills. Makes me want to go out and rent the whole "Victory At Sea" series again.
I look forward to your insights from distant, exotic Mindanao.

I read you loud and clear. But if comes down to having to vote for Paul I may never vote again.
Comment on The Calamity of Bush's Conservatism - Sept 5, 2008 2:49 PM ()
If you wish to preserve the Constitution and the Democratic ideals that have served this nation so long and so well your best hope right now may be to vote for McCain. You cannot seriously think that Paul has any chance of winning this election. There is really only one reason to vote for him. It is to show the Republicans that you believe they have failed to provide us with a decent candidate yet again. A vote registered for Paul is a statement that: "I am a voter. I'm not the sort to sit at home and shirk my duty. This is a vote you could have had along with every vote wasted here on Ron Paul." That is the statement I will make if McCain continues to refuse to defend our borders.

Wow! That was some tasty bean-o you served up yourself. What's your secret ingredient? I think I detect a hint of BLSHT.

Actually my views on religion are very much in line with yours. I don't, however, make broad generalzations condemning them. Most religions have good intentions that when inerpreted in that light are a positive force in society.
Hypocracy, I should note, is not strictly found among the religious. I have hardly found more violence in any movement than the PEACE movement.
