Hi dragon; I'm like sol--with dial up and Methuselah, can't watch videos or You Tube etc. But still love ya!
What a great memory! Enjoyed reading about your European adventures...
Frame it and hang it in a prominent place--no one's gonna believe this!

Jeri, Happy Birthday--and hope it was a good one, you skinny dipper you!
Those kids are lucky to have you teaching them! It must be frustrating to teach students who don't understand how things "used to be." Aren't history classes supposed to teach about the innards of slavery, etc?
Love the photo and the poem! So glad you're here on mybloggers!
Marta!!! So glad to find you on mybloggers and got you on my friends list..Hope to get back to reading blogs soon.
Sol; I like every food mentioned on your blog--except almonds and green tea. (to me, green tea tastes like cat p*ss smells--can't stand it.)
Oh boy! You're a good guy for even being in the same room with an ex!
Hey sol; Happy Birthday! You're so so lucky to have such a nice family..
Pecan; "The Snake Pit" is a must see. It's an old movie starring Olivia De Havilland-- a woman's experience in a mental institution. Authentic and wonderfully acted.
