It would appear old style corruption may have been in play at play in the Southern Hemisphere. Two things are scary about this. One, that Chavez ran so quickly to their defense. Two that Libya's Ghadafi was involved. Now I am not thinking Columbia wanted merely to influence politics in their leftist's neighbors yard but rather these documents do explain some of why there was no action taken against the rebels. Does Lebanon come to anyone else's mind right about now?
