I arrived to vote AT 6:30 A.M. and the door was open but those senior citizens all started yelling at me asking what I was doing in there and I said I came to vote? They said, you know we don't open until 7:00 a.m. (if I did I wouldn't be there?)...they were like really angry. I said, I'm sorry I thought you opened at 6:00 a.m. One lady said I need to leave right now? Okay and off I went...I came back at 11:30 a.m. and it took me 5 minutes. I don't want to reinforce the fact to make it harder for you, but quitting cigs is a real challenge...
Call her and let her know your true feelings. If she feels the same way you do, things will be fine. Most of the time incidents like this handled properly, strengthen relationships. Just be honest, in the heat of emotions like what happen, always proves that emotions usually do not dictate logic...best of luck.
