The last few weeks and future weeks will be devoted to downsizing and de-cluttering mine and my future roomie's lives.

This past weekend was good for me in terms of making progress towards healing about Spike. I have decided that I am not going home for Thanksgiving and it is likely I won't be with my folks during Christmas either. My older sister as I mentioned previously, is not dealing with the loss of Spike in a positive manner. I can't make her see the reality that was that decision, and I accept that. I don't accept the way she has acted or the way she treats me. Fungi and I went for a walk through a dog park and it was actually quite nice. I made it through the entire park without crying and I pet quite a few dogs. I was a bit leery around the big one's. Of course I know that they aren't Spike. One woman did majorly irritate me with her walking through the park. She and her daughter were walking through the park and apparently they didn't like dogs. WTF? Why are you in a dog park if you're afraid of dogs. There were quite a few that were super cute, and I am hopeful that I will have another dog in my house sometime soon.

I went to the model with my future roomie and we figured out that it is a good thing that I am selling my couch because our living room is smaller than we both remembered. So we're keeping my dining room table, and I adore it so I am super glad. Ha! I had a couple come by who wanted the whole set on Saturday. They figured that it was too big for their house and they did go home with my coffee tables. My entertainment center didn't last long and I got $50 more than I started off with listing it. So that is good. I am probably going to have to lower my cost for the chair and the couch. I keep getting scammers on craigslist. Just want you want right?

I had a great weekend with Fungi. Even though I wasn't feeling fantastic, we still managed to have fun. Friday night we just laid low and had a late dinner at the place we had our first date at. Saturday he had a work thing. We went to a movie and dinner during the evening. Sunday morning we woke up and I got antsy watching football. He kept trying to feed me this breakfast stuff but I wasn't into it. He was trying to take care of me this morning, it was quite sweet.

Things are definitely going well with him and I am excited for our future, wherever it is going to take us! ;-)
