GQ doesn't have any sympathy for Rielle Hunter, who reportedly "cried for two hours" upon seeing what she called her "repulsive" images in the magazine.
John Edwards' baby mama told Barbara Walters Monday morning that she believed photographer Mark Seliger would only use headshots that he took of her.
But the 45-year-old videographer posed for the photo shoot wearing nothing but a white collared shirt and a string of pearls while lounging on a bed. In another photo, a pantless Hunter is posed on a bed with stuffed animals piled around her.
"Did she say she thought they would be headshots?" GQ reporter Lisa DePaulo asked on ABC's "Good Morning America" Tuesday morning.
"Rielle is a smart woman," she said. "She knows what she wore and what she was doing in the photo shoot."
GQ also released a video of the photo shoot to "GMA" in which the videographer asks Hunter, "You want to take a look at this?"
In the 10,000-word interview, Hunter dishes the dirt on her sex scandal with the former presidential contender, who fathered her 2-year-old daughter, Frances Quinn.
Hunter says she's still in love with "Johnny" and believes he loves her. She went on to say that Edwards' marriage was "toxic," and that he feared "the wrath of [his wife] Elizabeth."
Hunter also confirms her first words to Edwards in their initial meeting were, "You're so hot." She says he begged her to call him, and that hours later they met in his room.
