This
is my neighbor's yard to the south. The post marks my property line. 
It is difficult to tell in the picture, but that tall stuff at the
north edge next to my yard is ALL crap grass.  The rest of it is
weeds--no grass!  The recent rains have it flourishing again.

A little closer shot.  Notice how well kept all the other yards in our
neighborhood are.  These two are the ONLY ones who do not care for
their lawns.  I don't know how we could be so lucky as to have to be
between them.

Here's
a shot of my neighbor's yard on the other side.  You can see where I
have had to pull weeds and crabgrass out of both our lawns.

Another
shot of my neighbor's lawn to the north.  The pictures actually make it
look much better than it is.  That tall stuff to the south of his
mailbox is all sticker weeds and the rest of it is weeds--not grass!! 
Notice how well kept the yards are across the street.

The two houses directly across the street.  Again, immaculate yards.

The
neighbor to our South is a young man whose wife divorced him.  He kept
the house.  Personally, he is friendly and I like him.  He constantly
compliments me on how good my yard looks, then admits:  "You'll get no
help from me.  I HATE yard work."

The
neighbor to the North is a military man stationed at Tinker.  I don't
know him very well.  He is a bit distant.  So, I don't know WHAT his
excuse is.  He is a single father raising two teenage daughters.  Maybe
he just doesn't have the time!!

However, I was a WOMAN who reared two teenage daughters alone and I found time to keep my yard neat.

We have a neighborhood association. I'm seriously thinking of reporting them. I hate to be a snitch but they are hurting everyone's property values on this street.
