People tell me they have been having trouble commenting on my site.  I have a new laptop.  In the process of setting it up, I think I inadvertently blocked  the comments section.
I have reset that section, so you should be able to comment now.  If you are still having problems commenting, please send me an e-mail. 
It is snowing again in Oklahoma.  Just now moving into Oklahoma City.  It is still raining here on the south side, but it is moving this way with snow on the north side.  By noon, we are supposed to have heavy snow along with strong north winds as the front moves through.
The good news is that our temperature is just right at freezing plus this is supposed to be a rapidly moving front that will gone by tonight.
I have been thinking about the people I know back East , hoping that they are all safe and with power.  This has been an incredible winter for so many.
From what I understand about global warming, it actually can produce catastrophic weather events  as the climate changes.  I know it sounds crazy to blame snow on global warming, but I do wonder.

UPDATE: Just while I was writing, the rain has changed to snow. It is coming down heavily. According to the news it is snowing at a rate of two inches per hour west of us. The flakes are as huge as I have ever seen in Oklahoma.

Our housing addition is directly parallel to the runways for Will Rogers Airport. I can stand on our front porch and watch planes take off and land. I am not seeing either right now, so I am guessing flights are not arriving nor departing at this time.
