Is Tiger Cheating On His Wife? Photos of Car and Alleged Mistress
If one believes the National Inquirer and its sister publication Star report last week, Tiger Woods is currently having an affair with a New York party girl, Rachel Uchitel.  He allegedly met her secretly in Australia as well as China while playing in golf tournaments in those countries.
Tiger spoke publicly today for the first time about his early morning car accident Saturday, releasing a statement in which he took full responsibility for the accident. He added that it was an embarrassment to his family and to him, and that he would see that it did not happen again.
Tiger continued by praising his wife Elin, whom he said acted "heroically". He concluded by saying that other details were private and that he would have nothing further to say.
TMZ. com, which the fantasy golf channel reports is usually fairly reliable, has reported that Woods and his wife were fighting about the report that Woods was cheating. According to several sources, which they would not disclose, TMZ stated that Elin also beat on his car with a golf club as he attempted to drive away.
In addition, according to those same sources, Elin allegedly scratched his face and posssibly hit him in the mouth, splitting his lip.Â
Some have speculated that Tiger's refusal to meet with police may be because he does not want them to see the wounds his wife may have inflicted, which would indicate the accident was the result of a domestic dispute.Â
That could trigger charges against Tiger's wife if she were also culpable in the accident.
Law enforcement officers told TMZ that Woods had cancelled yet another meeting with the Florida Highway Patrol.
We're told Tiger's lawyer canceled the meeting the FHP had wanted for 3:00 PM ET today. The lawyer gave no reason for the cancellation.

Here's how the FHP describes today's attempt to talk to Tiger: "The troopers went to the house to see if they could speak with Mr. Woods. Mr. Woods' attorney was present and told investigators that Mr. Woods was unavailable for an interview.
Mr. Wood's attorney provided the troopers with Mr. Woods' driver's license information, registration and current proof of insurance as required by Florida Law. The crash investigation is ongoing and charges are pending."
As for Ms. Uchitel, a hostess at a restaurant in New York, she has denied having an affair with Woods, stating that she resented the slander to her character.
She did admit to having met him as well as being in Australia at the same time he was; but stated she was there "entertaining clients."
Uchitel reportedly stayed at the same luxury hotel as Woods.
She is now being represented by celebrity attorney, Gloria Allred, who has stated that Ms. Uchitel will have not further comments at this time.
 Rachel Uchitel, 34, has a reputation of dating married celebs. She was previously linked to TV star David Boreanaz, best known for his role as Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
