This seems to be the latest thing from the far right wing.  We'll just say "NO" to everything!!  Well, I got to thinking about a few people in the recent past who just said "NO!"

Way back when, Jimmy Carter always said "NO!" but, oh, those thoughts he was having!

I remember Nancy Reagan had that slogan, "Just Say NO!" By the time poor old Ronnie toddled out of the White House, he didn't
know if he was in the White House or an outhouse!  Beware, ladies of 'just saying NO!'

Then there was George Herbert Walker Bush.  Wasn't he the one who uttered those infamous words, "Read my lips!  NO New Taxes!"  George H.W. spends his time now still picking losers. Every year he shows up at A & M--Texas, that is--to watch the Sooners stomp the Aggies.  And I actually felt sorry for the guy a couple of years ago watching the Astros get blistered four straight
games in the World Series. 

Next came Bill Clinton, who just never could say "NO" to anyone!

Following Bill was George W. Bush.  He's still trying to figure out how to pronounce "NO"!

Now, we have Barak Obama, who just can't say "NO" to cigarettes.  Yes, the Republicans even criticize him for that! 
Obviously, not a single Republican ever let a cigarette touch his
lips.  Now, booze!  That's a different matter.  I guess it's okay to be
a alcoholic;  just don't touch those nasty cigarettes!

However, in all the comments that I have read about the things to which the Republicans  are saying "NO", not a single one mentioned saying "NO" to his government rebate check Obama will be sending them soon as part
of that hated stimulus package.  Now, guys!  I know that being the
concerned worried citizens that you are about our spiraling national
debt, that this had to be an oversight.
So,
to help all of you, I have sent a personal note to President Obama
telling him just to apply all the Republican rebate checks to the
national debt!!  There!  That should make you guys feel much better,
knowing that money will be saving your children and grandchildren from
that terrible burden.
