Bing-gong! Microsoft's New Search Engine Terrible

Microsoft/Yahoo Merger Aims To Try To Take On Google...

Microsoft Rolls Out "Bing" To Compete In Search Engine Market.

Am
I the only one who absolutely detests Microsoft's new search engine,
"Bing"?  I have always been a huge fan of Google...I can find the
answer to any question I have there. When I want the answer to
something or I want to look up documentation for anything, I can always
rely on Google.

Microsoft yahoo big fish google

However,
Microsoft, ever the greedy fish in the pond, convinces Yahoo to merge
with them to create this new search engine, "Bing".

Well,
if this is their answer to "Google", it doesn't even come in a close
second.  It is poorly organized, doesn't present anywhere nearly the
information Google does, and is just a waste of time, in my opinion.

But,
here's what I hate most about it.  Half the time when I begin to google
something, it will try to automatically roll me to Bing.  I'm wondering
if this has happened to others, or is it just my computer, since I use
MSN as my home page.

Microsoft
can try every trick they have hidden away in Seattle, but they are
never going to steal me away from Google.  I might say the same about
Google's new home page.  It has some clever concepts, but it is a long
way from the quality of MSN or MSNBC as a home page in terms of its
maneuverability to secondary information.

Microsoft
has its expertise; Google has its expertise.  These two need to agree
to let each do his own thing and quit trying to cut into the other's
market.
