I'm not sure who is more ecstatic--Holly and Bevan--or the girls. They are all in love with the weather, which is so much warmer and nicer than Illinois.
As Little Buddy said, "It's A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!! I can wear shorts again!"
I mentioned to Holly that the girls had lived with lots of snow the last two winters, so they probably had had their fill for a while.
"Snow's overrated," she replied.

Currently, they are staying at a Residence Inn until Thanksgiving weakened. They have leased a home because they still have a house in Dallas that is on a long term lease. They are hoping the people will buy it when their lease expires.
This house looks and is laid out so much like their home in Dallas, so I'm not surprised they picked it. They would like to buy it; but they need to sell their other home first.
Holly reports that her new office is huge. The company ordered her all new furniture in dark cherry wood, which is her favorite finish. The only thing that hadn't arrived was her conference table and chairs; but she said it is supposed to be there tomorrow.
They had it all set up when she arrived.
"They have it arranged very nicely, but I am going to have to move it around some. Since I'm left-handed, it doesn't work really well for me."
"I also have a reserved parking space in the front row with my name on it," she added..
"Well, hon, I guess those are the perks of being a vice-president," I replied.
Big Sissy has already started school. Little Buddy had a cold and was running a low-grade fever last week, so she will enroll tomorrow.
Bevan is not beginning work until December 1, so he is taking care of getting the girls set up in school and running all the other errands necessary with a move.
He was able to transfer to another location with his company. He works for a health corporation that runs home wound clinics throughout the U.S.
He will have to drive to another location about an hour away each day; but he was driving nearly that far in Illinois, so it won't be new for him.
I'm looking forward to visiting once they get moved to their new home.
