Yup! We have gotten a bit in the last several days, but need lots more in order to get even close to normal.
The reservoirs are way down and many of our fresh water lakes are at less than fifty percent of capacity. Water rationing and the resulting dead lawns are in the near future for us unless we get a number of torrential down pours.
It is cloudy out right now and the sun comes and goes. The clouds are a bit gray with fluffy white edges.
The weather people tell us that it is snowing in the Sierras and that there are traffic warnings up both highway eighty and highway fifty.
Perhaps we will end up with enough snow to carry us for a while.
