After serving four years as Treasurer for the California Retired Teachers Association Division 5, there is finally someone else who is willing to do the job. I am not and never have been a very good bookkeeper. My work is adequate, but it took several years for me to finally understand the job and do it well.
The new person has experience in accounting, working for the State of California, and will make a much better treasurer than I will ever be.
The stress is slowly coming off my shoulders and I will be free starting in the month of July.
