I haven’t much felt like hitting on any certain topic, primarily politics, which has been so depressing and demoralizing for the past “first 100 days.” All of the economic system destruction and ruination under the name of “stimulus”, being heaped upon and hyped by the mainstream dinosaur “praise Obama” media – gag me. Please, will this deception ever end? Will people ever open their eyes and see the “emperor’s new clothes”—me thinks we have bought a pig in a poke!
Arlen Spectre – was a democrat – then a republican – now a democrat again – musical political party chairs – of course his only allegiance is to himself and his mega million $$$ bank accounts – to hell with his “constituents.” Unless of course they are RICH CONTRIBUTORS!!!!!
I was most impressed by one person’s views on civil disobedience, and/or the continuance of such. The evils perpetrated upon Black Americans by Southern White Democrat politicians and police forces, local, county, state, and even federal (FBI - primarily, under J Edgar Hoover) were intolerable and unconscionable, and demanded semi-peaceful and law-abiding civil disobedience. But his analogy of the VietNam war is one of which I disagree, the only thing these rich white-butt spoiled-ass brat kids were protesting was to prevent THEM from having to serve in the armed forces. Do you think anyone anywhere really wanted to go over there and take a chance on getting killed, maimed or mangled – missing arms and legs – staying alive but being dead inside? No way. Not a chance. But it was done—Duty, Honor, Country!!! Some gave all-all gave some!!! But today’s peaceful protest and/or soon to be called civil disobedience is in the form of so-called “Tea Parties” – people trying to SAVE America – from becoming the future Obamaland?? Prevent America from being sold out to “one world government”—to save America as proscribed in the United States Constitution – which some people – but apparently not our new president – have taken an path at one time or another to protect and to defend. Do we or will we need service here in our own country just as we gave in VietNam?? Time will tell!!!!
