As an ordained Catholic Deacon, I style my current self, after my past self, which is much like a combination of Elmer Gantry and/or the dynamite throwing Preacher played by Clint Eastwood!!!

I have always wondered what Nixon would have done had he known anything in advance about Watergate or some of the other dirty stuff undertaken by his staffers. I knew G.Liddy back then, and like any good soldier, gave out only his name, rank, and serial number. Plus, I can not think of or recall anything at all that he or anyone else of his team did that in any way would or could be considered subverting the U.S.Constitution. Oh, maybe by defending and protecting it from the Dem-Lib commies at the time???

I very much see the similarities between Bill Maher and Rush Limbaugh, both are tongue-in-cheek, irreverant comedians; and as for both, the majority of their most vehement critics never listen to them. I personally like both, no person, political official, or political party who is so one-sided should be beyond comedic ridicule.

Much the same way that 99% of registered Democrats will vote for anyone or anything nominated by and for the democrat party, regardless of who, what, when, where, or why - ("it's the party - not the person")!!!!!

Truly love all of your picture selections, I save almost all for future use, usually for my students and their class projects.

That is a lot of what I have been informed of, most of the millions of defaults have really been by "want to get-rich-quick flippers", who have been stuck holding too much mortgage in the home down-turn cycle.

This whole "bail-out" totally stinks. Just another way for sleazy slime-ball politicians and their so-called "friends" to get rich and richer at our expense!!!!!

And just how much of this $700B is going to end up in the pockets of these very same politicians - "who only want to help us" ??????

This version is twice as bad (Worserer) than the original House bill. Let's hope for all of our sakes that the House will actually for a change "represent the people" and flunk and dunk this turkey.

Exactly how things would be at my house - with current wife #3 - or 1 & 2

I also am glad it failed, and I hope it contiues failing to win anywhere near its present form. A Liberal Clinton policy, with all good and great intentions, ruined by the greed of fellow man. Write up and make a loan knowing all good and well that the borrower will never be able to pay it through, then sell off the loan to a quasi-governmentagency run by a bunch of democrat partyhacks who have been cooking the books and lying to congress for ten years, and then act surprised when the bottom finally does fall out from under!!!!

I agree with you Susil. Obama is a great telepromter reader, and does somewhat OK with well-prepared and prewritten issues, but he rates a "00" for thinking on the fly, even about that which he should know in advance.

At least she is not as much of a do nothing and know nothing lightweight as the democrat's candidate, Barry Obama!!!!

Proactive? Level headed thinking? Designed to be the best for the greatest benefit of all people? And what country's government are you talking about? Definitely NOT the USA, where only $$money$$ talks loud and clear!!!!
