I love my car
no I am not materialistic.
I took a lot of time and patience to make my decision.
It was a year in half a matter of fact
See, I pick my vehicle based on what it can offer
not on how much it costs or what other's might envy

The thing is I pick a car like I pick my man.
He doesn't have to be the fastest, finest, or the largest to any other
But to me he is all that, because he has all everything I want in a man.
There is no need to look any further.

Sure other's may offer more
They
might be larger
prettier
start up faster
attract tons of attention

but what's most important between me and my Boo is simply surface.

As long as he can make it an enjoyable ride,
keep me entertained,
is always ready to go,
can carry my shit and be dependable. I will never leave his side.

And even as we become older I won't replace the old with the new. I will just find something that can carry just us two.

Now I realize this is not all about me. Because I want my vehicle to be
satisfied that we are together. So I meet him half way and be sure he is always well fueled.
If he wants premium than that's what he will get.
Even when I don't feel like it.
I will take him on the occasional ride. The thing I like best is when he tells me what he needs.
With a little maintenance light he says baby I need some loving and attention.

When I am in love I have eyes for no other.
I might fill that gaps with rentals and undesirables until I find that right one.
Sure we know there are plenty fish in the sea
but once you find that one item that fits the bill
There is no reason to ever stray.
