Ok been a bit of a slacker when it comes to updating this blog. I use to write random crap all the time but since i have become a Mummy i just dont have the motivation to think of something to write.
To be honest there is really nothing interesting to write.
I got my Christmas tree up and decorated, something which Jacob finds highly entertaining. Stupid me thought if i need to buy a new tree (doggies decided to eat my old one) i might as well buy a big one thats going to last me. So i bought a 6ft 694 tip tree. My god just putting the tree up took me two hours, then i had to decorate it. Poor Jacob was in bed by the time the tinsle came out. His first Christmas and he doesnt even get to see the tinsle go on...lol. In all it probably turned out best he didnt because he wont frickin leave the thing alone. Constantly telling him to get away from the tree and that tinsle is not for little babies. Then he looks up at me and says Baaaaabieeeeeee. The way he exaggerates the word just makes me crumble. One good thing is he has not yet figured out that the presents when touched and scrunched make noise. So i have yet to re wrap any presents luckily.
I bought the little man a Ready Steady Rider, A musical pop tivity table, the cutest and most beautiful Jack in the Box (seems too good to give to a child but i know he will love it), a pair of hand symbols, a hand bell, a hand castanette, a ring stacker and a shape cube. I actually found it hard to buy for him this Christmas because the toys he finds most amusing are free and wierd. He loves his empty wipes packet, a clean nappy unfolded, paper and this thing i made out of an old pringle container that i put rice in.
I know he will love the Jack in the Box because the kid just loves being scared. Most kids cry but not Jacob, laughs his little head off. So i sneak up on him when he is not looking and say BOO to be greeted with a fit of giggles. I cant wait till he see's it. It plays the tune Pop Goes the Weasle and on the POP the Jack comes out.
Ahhhh the joys of motherhood eh'?
