I am dedicating my photos this week to honour the inauguration of the 44th American President. They will be pictures inspired by the occasion, by the emotion of the occasion, by the sheer joy of living in a hopeful time. I am not an American, but I am part of this earth (we are all on this ship together). I want to capture the hope of a new day, the feeling in our hearts when we know that something true and right and honest has begun. My first picture is called "Hearts On Fire" and to me that symbolizes what Obama has done to your nation, my nation and the world - he has given us hope, he has lit the fire of passion and compassion, and with these glowing hearts, we will become a more caring, more compassionate, more inclusive world.
