I'd have nun of it, but I guess it's become a habit!

Why are you working 12,000 jobs? If you are in the wrong jobs, go back to school. If you cannot take care of yourself, no one else will either. A woman must be able to look after herself at all times, even if she does live with a man. You need options always. Don't know what you do, but think about trying some "non traditional" jobs - mechanics and machinists make good money. Your hands get dirty, but not your soul, and you can make 35 an hour. Good Luck to you!

We have friends that own the "Nasties" which considering the dogs are Rottweillers could be construed as a racial slur, but in this case, it is somehow appropriate. They are of the "Our Dogs would never do that - and of course the dogs promptly do what ever it was that they supposedly didn't" which encompasses everything from pissing on the rugs to lunging at people when they are off lead (the dogs I mean). I always wondered what purpose a corgi served, other than as a door stop and occasionally a foot warmer! I suppose once they pass on, you could take them to a taxidermist and they could transform them into bolster pillows (probably not good to have shedding bolster pillows is it??)

China has population and reproductive laws (and thank goodness they do!). When I worked in China I was very curious as to how the people felt about that, so being the large bumbling western dolt that I am, I asked. The overwhelming response was that it only made sense, it was a responsibility of each person to not use too many resources, whether it was lights, food or space, as that was considered greedy and wrong. Their main thought on this was that it only made sense, people could not reproduce heedlessly because there was only so much to go around. Several women also told me it made each child precious. Interesting, since they have been raised in a one child society and we are more of the heir and a spare mentality.

In many parts of the world you do not see disabled individuals, either mentally or physically, because the natural selection of the society has already taken care of that. In the west we tend to think that all life is equally valuable and important (unless of course they are trying to immigrate).

It is not something we will see the solution to in our life times as many have said before, but it certainly makes me think that the layered worlds of Issac Assimov are not so far away.

hmmmmm yummo - I love venison and look they deliver it fresh! My kind of town. I know Americans have the right to bear arms, but do you arm bears? Let's take up a collection for bullet proof vests for the deer, that makes it a somewhat fairer fight - no??

nice - I am about to make the leap from the stone age into digital with a Canon EOS. My pictures aren't all that bad, I am just a seeker of the perfect drop dead gorgeous moment.

oh like get over yourselves! Gas is $1.41 here today, up from $1.29 five days ago and that is per litre people, which translates to some god awful number like $5.60 per gallon. Time to walk again. This is just bloody stupid greed and nonsense. How can gas change price by 48 cents a gallon in 4 days. Bandits!

I hate the hype and the crap that goes with the show, and the fact that the voting is controlled by anyone whose Daddy could buy a cell phone, and that Abdul person is an idiot and that the Cowell person is the only sane one on the panel, and that the black guy needs to learn to say more than "dude" and "dog" - with all that aside - there is some great talent that comes out of that show that would never have seen the light of day. My vote is for Cook, the other one looks and sings like a Henson Muppet.

I once lost 188 lbs. I divorced the bastard!
On a lighter note (no pun intended) good on you, that's fantastic. I have rarely met a donut that I didn't love.
