It's called a "senior Moment,"
when in mid-sentence you go blank;
And for those of us who have one,
It's like a short circuit in the memory bank.
Mama never heard of a crock-pot
Though her meals were always fine.
Chicken and dumplings in a big black pot
Amply fed her brood of nine.
I do like this, Larry! My crock pot always disappears, so I'm kind of like Mama, except with no kids.
