I am inexperienced concerning childbirth, but have been exposed to it a few times. When a woman is giving birth, it is not a pretty sight. She goes through excruciating pain. When the baby is placed in the mothers arms, all the agony disappears. The painful chapter of childbirth is finished.
This life can be compared to childbirth. As we experience it, we are focused on the pain. We know we will be pain free in heaven, but it is hard to focus on that fact when we are hurting right now!
After we have the pain of this life, along with a lot of blessings, the pain will be gone.
We will be so amazed at the greatness of heaven, and we will understand that heaven is all about the person and not just some place.
We will finally see Jesus as He is. We will be the creature in front of our awesome creator.
If we are God’s child, our names have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. God will start us on a new chapter entitled, “God’s Glory and Ours.” The best thing about being in His book is that this new chapter will never end!
