Sunday

Spent a sunday afternoon using google earth to go to ISMAY TRADING POST - that Laura suggested, certainly out in the backblocks but worth the visit along with the good read.
There were a lot of photo's to look at , the mesa's reminded me of Western movie scenes , ruins of old buildings was an eye opener , some must have been huge in their day, a longside of the Australian aborigine who never built any permanent dwellings in 40.000 years sure shows the differences in culture.
Leaving earth I read newspapers that gave me the local gossip, and there was plenty of that.

our aboriginals were nomads, had certain places to camp in colder weather in Wurlies --bent wooden stems covered in bark and leaves making a shelter, also they did make kangaroo skin cloaks and slept with the dingo for extra warmth.

Does it get cold where the aborigines live? That may be the difference.
It gets very cold in Colorado and stays cool all summer. That may be the
difference. The Indians had to have a Pueblo or better shelter because of
the harsh winters.
