WOW ! The kids all thought I had lost me marbles with this one, invited my immediate family out to dinner and me paying the bill, bloody hell wonders never cease .Seventeen of them , was surprised when I counted them and another due in SEPTEMBER , my first great grandson.------(my mob are slow breeders)
Had written notes to give to them and another I intended to say , but this silly old fool when I tried to say it I couldn't , looking at them all I got emotional ,--KYM my brick came to the rescue and read it .for me ,
Had an empty chair at the end of table and name tags for a toast , wife of 41years-- Colleen and son Neal , its an old custom--( but heck I aint 21 no more for sure ), at least I managed to do that , included in the bill was the drink for the toast. After that they paid for their own , HEY I aint that bloody mad
All in all it was a great night , I felt I had to show my appreciation for their support and love they had given me in this last crisis.
The butchers bill was about what I expected, and the pleasure it gave me was worth every penny
