Like those sayings No Wal-Mart here but plenty of shopping centres and shopping malls .
at the moment my state South Autralia is urging locals to buy locally , it has worked by saving 3 firms from bankruptcy, also the supermarkets are being investigate when advertising made in Australia and there not.
GMH make the Holden cars here and export the American version as Chevs back to you , recently they have offered 450 workers a redundant package and asked workers to take a pay cut so that they can stay in production
,needlessto say the pay cut was voted out .
The Ford motor co are going to stop building cars in AUSSI

YEAH a bit of alright

recycling bin is collected fortnightly here , not only good for environment, but also employment for sorters, then a monthly collection of hard large rubbish, save filling up the dumps. A good book really passes the time, though Cath and I watch a movie from u tube each day

That's what we call a fifth wheeler , on turntable like semi trailers .
we visit when we travel ,but don't stay overlong , though last trip out we house sat , while owners went into the city for a few days.

Don't know where I would fit in with any of this , I say live and let live , nothing seems to make upset , except for these so called reality shows , more so the cooking ones .
people I know would not have half the ingredients they use on thhe shows , or the cookware , no wonder I watch movies and play music , tv used only for news services

You have covered just about everything in this blog , about being alone , I remarried after losing m y wife ----got too bloody lonely living in house on my own was but one reason

That saving Private Ryan is one i will never see again bloody shocking

Tell Ed operetta is in my opinion is better, love my Gilbert and Sullivan , holidays don;t mean much anymore ,might just get an extra visit from the kids is all, but planning the next adventure holiday is in progress.
Younger ones living in nursing homes with older person is not good but not many alternatives
