Some might remember i have mentioned this gentleman in the past and of how helped me get my act together with some great advice and free help.
The first time I had dealings with him was in the debtors court of which at one time i became a regular , but that's another story,
Everyone is in court on Tuesday morning , the regulars nodding to each other , Mr Beerworth in fine form calling each to the stand in turn, asking why the bill is not been paid , and how much a week would you pay off it, when he was not happy with your reply he would ask if you smoked, answer yes and you no longer could afford it because he would get an order for you to pay that to your creditor.
This particular day the usual things happening when he called Tom to the box, he no sooner got him there when he also called Toms wife, a double bunger we all thought , most unusual , he would lose a fee with this .
When they were in position, he turned to the judge and said, your honour i would like the court to have a minutes silence , then when asked why he went on to say , your Honour Mr and Mrs ---- are leaving our fair town , i am losing very valuable clients and i will miss them.
WHO SAID GOING TO COURT IS NO LAUGHING MATTER ?
