Well, it's been a while since I've posted anything thing on here. Part of that is due to the fact that all of last week we were on the coast. We took 9 young people from our church and spent a week in the State of Nayarit. We went swimming almost everyday. It was nice I guess, but I am not much of a swimmer and neither were most of the kids in our youth group. I think I spent most of the time worrying about which big wave was going to come and sweep me out to sea! LOL
The beach was beautiful though and I enjoyed all the lovely scenery. At night we stayed at church which was about 25 minutes from the beach. Jeremy and I had to sleep in a tent, which I usually don't mind, but we were kept up late each night by screaming, laughing girls and other strange noises(at least I was) The first night no one thought to put the trash somewhere where nothing could get into it and we were woken in the middle of the night by what sounded like a pack of ferocious dogs tearing the trash apart,I was sure that they would also like to tear me apart if they only got the chance!! LOL Finally the dogs got tired of the trash and left, and at 5 in the morning a chorus of roosters woke us up again!! So...I didn't get much sleep last week!
Tuesday night I went to go to the bathroom before going to the tent and there was a HUGE spider on the wall!! Well, I left with using the restroom and someone told me they would kill the spider for me, but by the time we got back down there they spider had dissapeared! So, I thought I really need to go to the bathroom, but I REALLY don't want to go back in there! I was so embarrassed when a 9 year old told me she would wait outside the door for me in case the spider came back! I HATE spiders!!!!!!
I love to take pictures and on our trip I took more than 200 hundred. I was soo excited to get back and put them up for everyone to see. Finally I get home, uploaded them onto my computer, and for some reason my computer freaked out on me and ERASED ALL my pictures. It was so sad I almost cried!!!! So, I guess we'll just have to go again sometime and take more:D
