Today ... Gesh

For some reason my sleep schedule is WAY off track. I've been getting to sleep around 3am and then waking up at 10am. Not Good! So I decided to try and wear myself out today. Not sure that I accomplished this as you will understand in a moment.

So, I got up at 10am, brewed some coffee and decided to throughly clean my kitchen and living room. I dusted & lysol'd (with those wipes) the based boards. Scrubbed the refrigerator with soft scrub so it is once again white, rather than grease colored from my man's grubby hands. Dusted & lysol'd the fireplace vents & all the tile around it. Dusted all the darn furniture. Vacuumed and then decided to clean the carpets. I knew cleaning the carpets would wipe me out so I was actually looking forward to this job!

Well, my wonderful man went out and got me a heavy duty rug cleaner machine and got it all set up for me. About 8 drags into my rug cleaning adventure my elbow made a very loud popping noise. I have a slight case of carpal tunnel, as most of us do now thanks to computers, so it really snagged my arm. Writhing in pain... nahhh, just kidding, I went to the garage, told Caleb that the rug cleaner was to heavy for me and it hurt my arm. He said he thought I wouldn't be able to pull that thing as he thought it would be to heavy for me. So.... I sat around, playing on MyBloggers, and Myspace, while my wonderful man exhausted himself cleaning the carpets.

Maybe tomorrow I'll just run around the block a few times and tire myself out that way! At least one of us will sleep well tonight. *shrug*

BTW - clean carpets drying... stink! ick

Rather than messing around with the Stanley Steemer on the carpets, how about a couple of stiff Captain and Cokes to help to induce a restful stupor? Works for me. Doesn't hurt your arm so much either...unless you fall off the bar stool!

I hope your elbow is feeling better. All your housework has worn me out,

Aww I have completly sympathise with you and the 'computer' - opps 'crapel' oops carpel tunnel syndrome, (I've called that condition some names before in the past), it's gawd bloody awful agonising pain when it really gets set in. I still haven't found a cure for it besides splinting it for a couple of days. Hope yours gets better soon.
