I love Darwin Awards! My all time favorite was 2 guys who used a bullet as an electrical/fuse connection for the burnt out driver's side headlight of their truck. The heat caused the bullet to shoot off killing the driver.

I Love Ron Paul! He seems to be one of the only political figures that really "gets it" and if he were President, would do something about this mess.

Congratulations! At least you have some great experience with boys which is always good. My ex-MIL has 6 grand-daughters and I don't think she'll ever get a grandson.

Why do people seem to feel the need to throw things back in someone's face? I'd be so irritated, I probably would have voiced exactly what you said above and I wouldn't have voiced it nicely either. You are obviously nicer than me.

I just read all 4 posts and absolutely love what you are writing about. I especially love the little bits of humor you disperse throughout. So far my favorite was in post 3 "You mean to tell me that, if you did something unspeakable to me, I’m going to turn around and say, What you did was really, REALLY bad and it hurt my feelings beyond belief!!!! Therefore, I’ll only forgive you for it IF YOU KILL MY KID!"

I went to Catholic school for awhile and my mom pulled me out after I became obsessed with telling her I was ready to die. I explained that since I was young I hadn't committed as many sins as I would if I continued to live. I was convinced I was going to hell since I would never be able to remember all my mortal sins for confession.

I later became Christian.

I apologize first because I mean no disrespect, but what exactly is Obama saying here? Is he saying that we identify the perpetrators of 9/11 and then teach them empathy? What about the poverty, despair, ignorance and hopelessness in our own country first?

Loved this movie & I don't think I would have faired well at all if it were I stuck on an island all alone. OH, and just one more movie to add that Brian45 forgot to mention below.... My all time favorite movie, The Money Pit with Shelley Lone & Tom Hanks. He's a great actor.

My first trimester was during the summer months so I didn't really suffer to much. I can only imagine how miserable I would have been if I had 90 degree days later on in my pregnancy. You poor thing . But I will be anxious to know if you are having a boy or girl!!!

I'm very sorry to hear about what your granddaughter went through. Vile creatures like that guy deserve to be shot immediately. My thoughts are with you and your family.
