This is just going to be a quick little blurb. Most people know that California has been suffering from a massive amount of wildfires and extremely poor air quality because of the fires. Although I don't suffer from allergies or poor health conditions, even I had been noticing a hoarseness in my voice, coughing more often, and a feeling that I can't get enough air at times. Most of Northern California has banned the usual fire works shows and even the sales of fireworks at the stands that go up every year. I'll save that aspect for a different blog... one where I have more time.
Anyways... some places can still do the legal fireworks. That's fine. What's ticking me off right now is that some neighbors of mine apparently have gotten their hands on some illegal fireworks. Beautiful as they are, this area is SO dry, and I don't know these people... are they even mature enough to handle these fireworks? I live right off of a greenbelt (that is extremely dry thus should be called a brown-belt) and honestly, the last thing I want to endure is a fire. We've already had one close call 2 years ago when our neighbors caught their house on fire. I don't need that stress again!
Why can't people just be rational and considerate? Most of our fire fighting resources are used up right now fighting the big fires elsewhere.
Maybe I can get Caleb to concoct some contraption that waters our house and the surrounding area for the next 2 days!!!
Lord watch over my neighborhood!
