some folk's idears about what is "un-American" often make me wonder about their IQ score. One of the things that makes America unique among nations is its freedom to disagree with the factions in power without fear of being carted off or shot. We must make sure that it stays that way.

great post A.J......we all have songs in our life which call to mind faded and mebee not so faded loves. Mr. Bugg died the year "Titanic" came out and to this day, I cannot hear that song by Celine Dion without weeping(tearing up a little now just writing about it). Another one that'll get me to bawling is "One Sweet Day" by Boyz to Men and Maria Carey (I think). The lyrics to that one really hit the nail on the head

I read or heard somewhere today that Mr. Obama has promised a repeal of the dreaded and idiotic "Don't Ask Don't Tell" military policy if elected. I agree though that somehow the Republican party that I joined was hijacked by the bible thumping whack jobs and began to invade one's personal freedom.
