This is a wonderful painting that I purchased from
jonjude.This was a gift to my daughter for her new
apartment.I am very pleased with it.
Okay I have been idle awhile.
Did a stupid thing and cut myself while working.
I went to bathe it put some ointment on it and bandage it up.
This was last Saturday.
Sunday morning I looked at my hand and saw that it was swollen.
Mike said this is not good.
We are going to the ER.
After breakfast we left.
Did not have to wait to long as they got me in and out.
They hooked me up on IV and antibodic.
When it was done they told me to come back at six to look at this.
Oh!
Back to the ER.
Took me in right away and looked at my hand.
The doctor said this does not look good.
Infection has set in all the way up to my right arm.
You get this red streak that goes all of the way.
Here we go again.
Hooked on the IV and antibodic.
Had a couple of doctors looking at this.
Felt that it was a circus of people coming in.
Mr.Rossi we have to keep you overnight.
Shoot are you serious,yes we are.
Mike stayed with me for a while as they wheeled me up to the rooms upstairs.He came with me.
Gave me a sweet kiss and said see you in the morning.
The next day things still were not looking too good.
Developed any streak as my hand was so swollen and red.
Mr.Rossi,sorry we have to keep you again overnight.
Okay,as they pumped me with antibodic.
The good thing was I got a chance to watch the whole show on the Tony awards.LOL
Well things finally was getting better and the swelling was down.
The streak was fading away.
The doctors there were very good with me.
Tuesday morning they came and looked at it and discharge me.Amen.
The motto of this story is no matter how simple or bad the cut is to take care of it and bathe it cover it etc.
Guess I was a little careless in doing so.
Today was the first time to play tennis and it felt so good to get back in routine.
Had nice people stopping by to see me.
So my friends that is why I was Idle.
But did read some of the blogs there and comment.
To those that I did not get to.
