I can remember thinking that as well. I also wasn't happy when Paul Mc. left his long term girlfriend (Jane Asher) to go out with Linda - but look how happy both men became. I think you and I were too young to appreciate 'changes' that need to happen. (It's hard to believe that he would have been 70 today - wow, it makes me feel old)
Hard to believe he'd be that old, I guess we're all getting old. I remember what a bummer it seemed when Yoko came into the picture and seemed to break things up, but the group members probably needed to grow up and go their own ways, explore new directions.
