450 Million Years Ago

I am watching a documentary about Mount Snowdon (amongst other volcanic places in the UK).
It was apparently 100 times fiercier, than 'Krakatoa'!
This was even before Sotland and Ireland had adjoined England & Wales.
Gonna carry on viewing - fascinating stuff!

I remember when one of the volcanoes along the Pacific erupted years ago and we had cooler weather for a year as a result of all the ash in the upper atmosphere. We need more of those.

I do appreciate your climate problems - I wonder if the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland has had an impact on our summer rainfall? I hadn't thought of that. It caused the aviation problems Europe had months ago!
