I've been gone from MyBloggers too long... Playing on MySpace. Unfortunately, MySpace has bit the dust! Well, not exactly, but it's truly messed up worst than I have ever seen. Which reminded me...I miss MyBloggers and the small handful of friends I made here. Not quite, but almost friends. I wasn't really here long enough to make any strong bonds and my one and only friend here from MySpace deleted me everywhere. I guess she forgot this site. Nonetheless, I miss her and wish we were still friends. I think internet misunderstandings may be the worst because we don't finish talking it out... We just turn our computers off, delete each other from friend lists, etc.
So, if anybody is wondering what I have been up to... The answer is NOT MUCH. I am finally at the other side of my grief from loss of Mom and Hubby's health has returned. Life is good again.
Today, I got to be Mrs. Kravitz for the neighborhood. I was walking my dogs and a car I never saw before came down my street - slowed and backed up to a house where I knew my neighbor was in the hospital. A young couple parked in the driveway and began trying the doors. I called the police and they came - guns drawn - to find out that the lady was hired to clean the house. It must be true because the police finally left and the owner came home from the hospital this afternoon. I'm too embarrassed to walk my dogs east on my street. Guess we will be walking in the westerly direction until I can face my neighbor.
Well...that was my excitement for the day. If I were in the hospital and my neighbors ever saw a strange car with people they never saw before pull up in my driveway and start trying all the doors, I hope they would call the police. I would be ever so grateful, even if it was someone I knew.
How would you feel if your neighborhood Mrs. Kravitz called the police on your cleaning lady? Do you think the police should have approached with a gun already drawn?
Whew! What a day!
