Do you plant everything in pots? We have to in some places because of invading tree roots. Is the Black polythene for mulch to keep the weeds down? Nice flowers.

I had no idea the scenery and mountains and vistas in yosemite were so beautiful... At last... a place I'd like to visit. But like you, not with hordes of tourists. you could sell these photos to tourists, I'll bet they're better than the postcards.

People should stick to what they know when painting, writing etc... perhaps he's trying to expand his audience and gone beyond his expertise -- or maybe bored?
It's a pity there isn't a spelling check on these posts... I make so many typing errors and it takes so long to scroll through the little box.

I've been trying to think of something clever to write for an hour... but have given up... you've played me off the court.

I am also interested to know why you guys call it a moon roof. For spooning perhaps? Your cat sounds great... I love independent animals. What sort of truck and why do you havea moon roof and why was it open?

You write very poeticly about this... clearly you have a poet's heart and poets are more sensitive than the rest of us. I am very sad for you, but as AJ says... the ache deadens eventually, and makes you either stronger or weaker - never the same. I guess it's up to you whether you walk away from this stronger and wiser and ready to love again, or whether you decide to give up... I suspect the first one.
Go to places you like, do things you enjoy and you will meet someone who shares your interests and may want to share your life.

I sure as hell would sooner live in Israel than Egypt!or any muslim theocracy... So far, the Israeli theocracy is the only one in history to busk the trend of becominf corrupted, vicious dictatorships -- well done.

I imagine the food bill for the governor's 'sedan' carrying heavies would be nearly as much as the gas?

Our last Prime minister did that... made extravagant promises, got elected, then when questioned on why nothing was done just stared at the cameras and said as if the reporters were nuts, "But... they weren't 'core' promises." its now a standinf joke, 'is that a core promise?"SAD]

I think Egypt agreed to a peace treaty with Israel after being trounced in 1967, because otherwise it would have been invaded by Israel/USA. the country is bankrupt and supported by USA money, and their cruel and vicious dictators have always been USA puppets. Egypt is one of the favorite places the CIA takes prisoners for torture. It is only of strategic importance, unlike Saudi Arabia, so they have to do as they're told or it's curtains. [BTW... the whole tale of Moses is a myth, proven by archeaological discoveries.]

It certainly looks cold! fine composition and the decorative detailing of the vines across the front is especially fine.
I note that you too get a slight distortion in the frame when using a digital camera. I find it impossible to photograph a painting without some distortion around the edges. Look forward to your next style.

I've just been watching a 1940's movie about a judge in Boston who takes off from nagging wife and stress and bums around in california -- falls in love but ends up doing his duty back in Boston - now a supreme Gcourt Judge. I was thinking of you. They sure made some sugar-sweet, moral tales in those days -- would never get away with it today. Even the kids were nice.
