good news... loved the cartoon because it is true -- especially the last line.
A disturbing post. The killings are bad, but there are always crazies out there. The discussion beneath about the politics of fear is more alarming. That is how humans have always maintained power, of course, invent an enemy to rally the troops. The terrible thing is that in a democracy, the enemy becomes fellow citizens instead of foreigners - other political parties and so it degenerates into veritable civil war. It happened here for ten years - the conservatives clung to power by literally demonising immigrants, indigenous people, gays, liberals... finally the electorate saw what was happening and changed government. I hope that can happen in the USA.
I tried again and it worked... the one about the guy pretending he'd ripped his pants is fun!
OH>>>>> they said this video is no longer available... I reckon advertisements are often better than programs.
Poor Martin... such a worry. He sure is lucky to have friends like Gino.
Is this anti-war or anti religion that foments war? well written but i am ashamed to say that after years of images of violence and horror on TV I am almost immune to the notion of human suffering. I, a pacifist! It's good to now there are still people shocked by man's inhimanity to man.
Ah me... and I suppose there are plenty of suckers who just can't wait to wrap their lips around it.
When i was a kid we could see over the fence into the elderly neighbour's lounge while we were doing the dishes. It was fun to watch old Mr. C. slowly raise one buttock, hold it for a while, then relax with a smile on his face.

An excellent clip... atl east the animated bit...Very reasonable, unfortunately, the major requirement for being religious, is to amputate your reasoning ability. If you can believe in an invosible superman in the sky who knows your every thought and cares if you're constipated.... then you'll believe anything, and take no notice of science.
Murdock should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity. If dumbing down an entire population is not a crime, what is? First he did it in Australia, then the UK now the USA where he's been the most successful.
Obama's popularity in Europe - well over a hundred thousand enthusiastic T-shirt wearing supporters of every age and ethnicity, is an expression of the hatred felt for Bush in europe, and a desperate hope that the USA will stop it's policy of installing and supporting whatever foul dictator will do its bidding, while invading and quelling every country that doesn't do as big brother USA says. I fear it will have the opposite effect in the USA where most people seem to think the rest of the world are ignorant savages. therefore they must be wrong and, more to the point - no one is going to tell us who to vote for! Personally, i suspect it would be better for the planet if McCain got in, then more of the same would mean the USA would implode and return to the dark ages and get off everyone's back and consume itself with civil war and revolution and stop being the world's bully-boy.
It might not be a great pictureof the tattoo, but I am veey, very jealous of Ryan! My biceps are at the top of my arm, not on my shoulderblade... have you been doing some strange exercises? I've 'saved' your pic and for a few days it will be on my 'desktop'.
As you are sometimes called Bob... here's your slogan! "Concerned about your kid's ABC? Vote Aaron B Coutu" with the 2 ABC's the same bold colour.
