. . .about writing my final blog on Blogster, heck, I'd been there almost 3 years and made a bunch friends - most of which left and are here now. I like progress but I hate change and too much changed on that site and I just couldn't keep up with it! Guess I'm getting old(er) or something. Gotta be 'something' - I never refer to myself as getting 'old.' Hell no - just progressing or mellowing, like a fine wine.
The subject title was "Swan Song" short and sweet. I don't intend on going back either - blogging here and there. I tried it with Blogster and Livejournal a few years ago and it didn't work. What's the sense of posting the same damned thing two different places? Plus, I'm so busy - as you all know and just don't have the time. Perhaps if I had high speed - which is on my wishlist, please gawd,all the angels/saints & Santa!!! Whatever, now I want to figure everything out here, sit back and relax and write some totally astounding stuff - to knock your sox off!! (lol).
It's a dream of mine to have a column in a local newspaper which just might happen. But in the meantime, I'll practice on you guys. Plus, I must get back using my digital camera again. I took some awesome pictures last year and posted them on myshutterspace.com. You can find me there under my same old name - "blogsterella." They're really not bad at all and I got some positive feed back about them when I posted them. Stay tuned for more about that.
Anyhow, enough blathering for now.
It's outside we go - the snow is almost gone and I see a few crocus buds pushing their way up and out.
Oh, and this morning is the first morning that I DIDN'T light a fire!!since September some time. It's a little chilly downstairs and I might light one later on to keep the evening chill off. This is definitely a good sign.
And, it just might be true what I said to my daugher; "I'll be burning in the woodstove right up until the day I get on the plane for Florida" - which is exactly 22 days from now (yipes!)
