My sister is definately being kept busy around here and she also finds herself things to do as well. She has been doing things like hand sewing pillow characters (gothic type charaters with buttons for eyes, saftey pins, pillow-type wings, etc.), going over to my fiancee's friend's house to learn how to make american indian jewelery like dream catcher earings or just helping him sort through and organize his wife's fabrics and sewing things (his wife was my friend's mom that past away on June 1rst this year and she used to be a talented seimstress).Â
Plus, my sister is supose to be getting a call from my fiancee's old boss (the owner) some time today in hopes to be getting a job as a phone girl for a delivery/pick-up pizza place. The owner is the only one that hands out the job applications because he likes to know who he is hiring. He appaerently doesn't even let his managers hire anyone under him. I think that is a good concept considering the mass turn over in employees for places like that. Hell, come to think of it, the only time someone gets hired by us, is when the store manager gives the go-ahead. So yeah, good concept like I said. I am just hoping my sister does well there. I also told her that if she gets hired there and has to leave, to at least leave on good terms.
I honestly don't think my sister has been this busy in a long while. I think it is doing her some good. I told her last night that but I also told her to try not to over-do it as well and she agreed.
Speaking of, I have to work today, but only for three hours (which will probably be less than that since we don't get alot of business anyways). I really need a new job...one day I will...one day...
