A beautiful warm sunny day. A trail of less than a mile. It took me almost ninety minutes, a patient companion, and a sturdy walking stick, but I did it. I made it to the top. Took pictures of many of the wildflowers we saw, but don't have the patience to upload more than a few to this blog.
This is some of what we saw:
Scarlet Pimpernel
Filaree
Camissonia
Tidy Tips
Popcorn Flower
Lavender Baby's Eyes
Blue Baby's Eyes
Brodea
Showy Fiddleneck
Western Wallflower
Miner's Lettuce
Scarlet Bugle
Lupines
Coyote Brush
Santa Barbara Ceanothus
Prickly Phlox
Spiny Cucumber Vine
Honeydew
Owl Clover
