The medical provider billing office says the claim was denied. The PPO says the claim was never received. The insurance company says the claim was paid. And each one wants me to call the others. The billing office, when I suggested they speak directly to the PPO, said, "We don't make phone calls. We don't know what the PPO doesn't like about the claim. All we can is resubmit it." The insurance company says, "We're not set up to make outbound calls. Have your provider call the PPO." The PPO says, "Call the insurance company."
I am sick and tired of dealing with these people. It's stressful, and stress aggravates auto-immune conditions, and I'm going to go do some online research and start calling VP's directly if they give me any more bull droppings.
Gee, I can hardly wait til next year when I'll be eligible for Medicare.
