The banks are getting billions,
Investment companies too;
The auto makers stand in line
To also get their due.
I guess we have a lot of dough,
The way we throw it around.
I thought they said that “spread the wealthâ€
Had a socialistic sound.
I don’t care what they call it,
But us folks are getting blue;
And if they want us to buy their stuff,
They better give us some too.
